Hot take: the adoption agency in Sacramento lost my file and I'm done being polite about it
I got a call on a Tuesday saying they couldn't find the paperwork I signed back in March, the one with my medical history on it. That's 7 weeks of my info just floating around somewhere, and nobody could tell me who had it. So I called every single day until a supervisor named Diane finally found it in a scanned folder under the wrong last name. If you've dealt with an agency losing your stuff, did you keep pushing or just let it go?
