Unpopular opinion: I got way too into figuring out the timeline for 'Dark'

I mean, I spent like 3 hours last night drawing a chart on my whiteboard just to understand one season 2 episode. Has anyone else gotten this lost in a show's plot?

Honestly, the only way to survive that show is to surrender to the confusion. My living room looked like a conspiracy theorist's den for a month, strings connecting pictures of the Doppler family on the wall. The official website has a spoiler-free character guide that just shows who is related to who, which saved my sanity. Trying to hold the actual timeline in your head is a lost cause.

The show's real trick is making you feel smart for being lost... like you're solving a puzzle that has no solution. That character guide just gives you enough rope to hang yourself with more theories. It's a shared delusion we all agree to play along with.
