Showerthought: I hit 200 episodes of shows I started but never finished and that number kind of scared me
So I was messing around on my streaming apps during a slow Sunday and started counting all the shows sitting in my Continue Watching rows. It came out to 200 episodes across like 14 different shows that I just walked away from. Some of them I bailed after one episode, but a few I got 3 or 4 seasons deep and then just never went back, which feels worse somehow. The weird part is I can't even tell you why I quit most of them. Nothing bad happened, I just got distracted by some new thing that popped up on the home screen. I think the endless scroll is the real problem here, because there's always something shiny two rows down. Now I'm wondering if I should go back and finish a couple or just admit defeat and clear the list. How do you all decide when to push through a show versus just letting it go?
200 episodes is basically a whole other life you could've lived lmao. Honestly the Continue Watching row is just a graveyard we all keep visiting for no reason. Let it go, the show already let you go first.
