My buddy's 3 hour rant about 'The Leftovers' made me realize I was skipping the best episodes
He told me to push through season 1 because seasons 2 and 3 are completely different shows, and after binging the whole thing in a week I gotta ask - did anyone else almost quit too early on a series and miss the good part?

Man, The Office was like that for me... first season almost made me quit.

Yeah @ramirez.caleb I feel that. I almost quit Parks and Rec after season one because it was trying so hard to copy The Office and it just fell flat. But my friend kept telling me to stick with it, so I pushed through to season two and then it finally clicked. Sometimes you just gotta give a show a little more room to find its own voice, you know. Its weird how a rough start can almost make you miss out on something really good later.
