Honestly, I just realized I've been watching shows all wrong for years
Tbh, I always used to skip the opening credits to get right to the story. Then I binged 'Severance' last week and let the intro play once, and the music and visuals totally set the creepy mood. It made the whole experience way better. Now I'm debating if skipping intros ruins the vibe or if it's just a waste of time. What's your take on watching the intro sequence for a binge?

Skipping intros is like fast-forwarding through the first chapter of a book. You might get the plot points, but you miss the tone the creator carefully built. Letting it play just once per session can really lock you into the show's world.

Skipping intros feels like a symptom of our rush to consume everything. We miss the small rituals that build real atmosphere, like letting a song set a mood. It turns media into just more stuff to get through.
