Dropped $85 on a 4K streaming stick and spent 3 weeks trying to find one show worth watching
I got talked into upgrading my old TV setup so I could finally watch stuff in 4K, and I figured the extra cash would be worth it for all the "prestige" shows everyone keeps going on about. Three weeks and 14 different pilot episodes later, I couldn't find a single new show that held my attention past the first 20 minutes, and half of them looked basically the same as regular HD on my screen. My buddy swears by one of those space dramas on Apple TV, but I'm starting to think the golden age of stuff like Breaking Bad and The Wire spoiled me for anything that comes out now. Anyone else feel like there's way too much to choose from and somehow nothing worth the time anymore?
