My niece's birthday cake collapsed at the park in Boulder, so now I bake in stages
I tried to frost a two layer cake in 90 degree heat at a picnic shelter and it slid clean off the plate in front of 15 kids. Now I freeze the layers for 20 minutes first and keep everything in a cooler until the candles come out. Anyone else got a hot weather frosting trick that actually holds up outside?
