My attempt at a mirror glaze cake turned into a sticky, drippy mess
I followed a YouTube tutorial exactly, but my white chocolate glaze was way too thin and just slid right off the frozen cake. Has anyone in Chicago found a bakery that teaches a good hands-on class for this stuff?

That mirror glaze fail sounds exactly like my first try, and yeah, I froze the cake solid like @richard_ramirez asked about. The real kicker was the room being too warm, so the glaze just turned into a sweet puddle on the counter. Makes you wonder if those video tutorials ever show the real messy attempts, you know? I never found a class here, just kept practicing in a cold kitchen with a thicker glaze recipe.
