Just hit 100 failed macarons and I'm weirdly proud of it

That's actually a really good point about the mindset shift. Miles_campbell39 is onto something with the whole "letting go of caring" angle. You see this everywhere, like people who are scared to try fixing something because they might break it, so they never learn. Total commitment to the process, even a failing one, ends up teaching you more than being timid ever will. Hitting 100 of anything, good or bad, means you showed up and did the work, and that's what builds real skill in the end.

What's your secret to failing so consistently? I'm stuck at maybe 30 sad, cracked batches and I can't seem to fail as hard as you. My incompetence lacks your clear dedication.

Honestly @angela191, are you even trying to fail right? It's about total commitment to the wrong choices. You gotta ignore every single tip and trust your worst gut feeling every time. I don't just make mistakes, I double down on them like it's my job. Maybe your problem is you're still hoping for a good batch, and that hope is holding you back from true, glorious failure. You need to let go of caring at all.
