Wasted $180 on a "soundproof" mattress pad after my roommate started drumming at 11pm
My roommate in Austin took up drumming in our apartment and I was desperate so I bought a $180 soundproof mattress pad thinking it would block the noise, but it did absolutely nothing and he's still pounding away every night. Save your money, it's basically a regular mattress pad with a fancy label. Has anyone actually found something that works to muffle noise from a roommate, or am I just doomed to hear paradiddles forever?
