Just built a small tool shed using those recycled plastic foundation blocks instead of concrete
I was putting up an 8x10 shed in my backyard in Denver and hated the idea of hauling concrete bags. Tried those plastic foundation blocks you screw into the ground, and the whole thing leveled out in under an hour. Has anyone else used these for a bigger structure or am I pushing my luck?

Used those for a 10x12 garden shed last summer and they held up fine through two Colorado winters. Just make sure you really screw them in deep and don't cut corners on leveling or you'll regret it.

Yeah @robinson.quinn, people rush leveling on everything and wonder why shit falls apart later.

Ask if any of those people who rush leveling ever actually go back and fix it once they realize things are shifting? I've seen so many decks and sheds around here that start tilting after one decent rain because someone skipped the gravel base or didn't bother checking for level more than once. Must be nice to have enough time to redo everything later when the whole thing starts wobbling like a shopping cart with a bad wheel. Why would you even bother putting in nice hardware if you're just going to prop it up on a slope anyway?
