Built a 6x8 shed ramp for my dad in Tacoma, it snapped in 2 weeks
I threw together a ramp out of 2x6s and plywood so my dad could get his mower into the shed without muscling it up the lip, and it looked solid when I walked on it. Two weeks later the plywood was mush and one of the boards split right at the knot where I screwed it down, since I never sealed the top edge and Tacoma rain got into it. Do I go pressure treated all the way or is composite worth the extra money for something that sits in the wet half the year?
