Warning: a raccoon killed 11 of my hens over 6 weeks and I still can't decide if the electric fence was worth it
Trapped and relocated 7 raccoons starting back in March but they kept coming through a gap near my coop roof that took me almost two months to find. Now I'm $340 into fencing and lights, and half the folks on my street say just get a dog while the other half swear by hardware cloth buried 2 feet down. Which side are you on?
