I forgot to latch the run gate after hauling water out at 6pm on a wet Wednesday, and when my head count came up one short I grabbed a flashlight and walked the block until I heard a soft cluck from under old man Deller's porch three houses down at 7:30, so now I count birds before I even set the bucket down, but has anyone found a latch that actually clicks loud enough to hear from the house?
