Learned the average hen lays around 300 eggs a year and I had no clue it was that high
A guy at the feed store in Boise told me last Saturday that a healthy hen usually pumps out somewhere between 250 and 300 eggs a year, which means my 4 girls should be giving me way more than the 2 a week I've been getting, so now I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong with their feed or if he was just overselling it?
