Finally dialed in my water carry for the Lost Coast Trail
Kept seeing people hauling 6 liters from the trailhead and struggling. Checked the tide charts, timed the impassable zones, and only needed 3 liters between Mattole and Black Sands. Anyone else find most people overpack water on coastal routes?

Check the creek flows before cutting water that much.

My last water cut turned the creek into a mud puddle.
