Took me a full weekend to find a clunk in my front end, and it was a $12 part I already had
I spent Saturday and most of Sunday under my 2004 Ranger chasing a clunk over bumps, swapping sway bar links, checking ball joints, and even pulling the strut out twice. After about 14 hours total it turned out to be a worn out sway bar bushing, and the spare pair I had in a coffee can on the shelf fixed it in 20 minutes. Has anyone else burned a whole weekend on a noise that turned out to be the cheapest thing in the suspension?
