That time my car sat in Phoenix for 5 extra days over a wrong DOT number

Booked a hauler to move my truck from Phoenix to Denver, trusted the broker's quote, then the driver showed up 5 days late because the dispatch had the wrong registration info. I stood in a 110 degree parking lot watching the guy check his clipboard three times while my boss in Colorado kept texting where's the truck. Has anyone else had a broker that just stopped answering once the pickup window blew past?
