Saw a carrier in Amarillo with 9 cars and every single one had a paper tag taped inside the windshield
Stopped at the Flying J off I-40 in Amarillo on Tuesday and watched a 9 car hauler unload. Every car had a buyer's paper tag taped inside the windshield instead of a real plate. I asked one of the drivers about it and he said maybe 6 out of 10 cars he moves now are bought sight unseen online. Nobody ever sees the car until the truck is already in their driveway. That seems like a huge problem for reviews, because a guy in Ohio is trusting photos from a dealer in Arizona with zero eyes on the actual car. How do you review a carrier when the car itself was never checked by anyone before pickup?
