Found out my truck's shipping quote was based on a city I wasn't even near
I was getting quotes to move my F-150 from Austin to Denver and noticed one company kept pricing it at $850 while another said $1,150. Turns out the cheap one was routing through Oklahoma City, which added like 300 miles of extra driving time and a whole extra transfer at their yard in Tulsa. I only caught it because I called and asked why the pickup window was 5 days instead of 2, and the dispatcher let it slip. Has anyone else had a quote come back weirdly low and found out it was a bait and switch on the route?
