Can we talk about the $40 deposit a broker in Dallas tried to sneak on me at pickup
Booked a move from Dallas to Phoenix for $850, and when the driver showed up he said I owed a $40 cash deposit for fuel before he'd load the car, which was nowhere in the quote I signed, so I made him call his dispatcher and the fee vanished in about 30 seconds, has anyone else had a carrier invent a fee right at the curb and did you pay it or push back?
