Water heater started leaking in my crawlspace on a Sunday morning in Marietta
Woke up to a weird smell and found the 11 year old water heater in my crawlspace dumping water everywhere. I shut off the supply valve and called three plumbers, and the first one that picked up said they'd charge $150 just to come out on a Sunday. Ended up draining it myself with a garden hose and dragging the thing out through the access hatch, which took about 4 hours. Now I'm wondering if I should've just paid the weekend fee. Has anyone found a plumber around East Cobb who doesn't jack up prices for weekend calls?
