Just realized the blurry blob in my 2019 photo from Sedona was actually a galaxy
I was going through old pics from a trip to Sedona and found one I took of the night sky with a cheap 50mm lens. I almost deleted it because it looked like a smudge, but a buddy ran it through a plate solver and it lined up with Andromeda. Three years of thinking my camera was broken over a lens I got for $40 at a garage sale. Anyone else dig up an old shot and find out it was better than they thought?
