I swore my phone shots of Orion were fine until I saw a 30-second exposure from my buddy's tripod
His pic from the state park last month showed the nebula's pink cloud, which my blurry snaps completely missed. Anyone have a decent starter tripod they'd recommend for under a hundred bucks?

Yeah, that "pink cloud" moment is a real game changer. My friend had the same shock trying to shoot the Milky Way with just a rock to balance on. He grabbed a basic Amazon Basics 60-inch tripod for like forty bucks, and the difference in his star pics was insane.
