Showerthought: spent $80 on a bread maker and went back to $3 hands after 4 months
I got a bread maker last fall and used it almost daily for 4 months, but the loaf always came out with this weird hard crust on the bottom. Around February I gave up and went back to just kneading dough by hand on my counter, which takes maybe 15 minutes. Am I the only one who thinks these kitchen gadgets just add a step instead of removing one, or did I get a bad model?
