Shoutout to the $3 notebook I bought at a Walgreens in Reno that fixed my whole morning routine
I used to lose my keys, my wallet, and my work schedule every single week. I tried phone reminders, a whiteboard, sticky notes on the fridge, all of it. Nothing stuck because my phone is full of junk and the whiteboard was in the wrong room. So about two months ago I grabbed a little $3 notebook at a Walgreens in Reno while waiting on a prescription. I started writing down the three things I needed before I walked out the door and the one thing I had to get done that day, nothing else. I did it for a week and only forgot my keys once instead of four times. After a month I stopped losing stuff almost completely, which sounds dumb but it's true. The trick is keeping it small and keeping it in one spot by the door, not in your pocket or on your phone. Has anyone else found a cheap paper system that beat all the apps for them?
