Dropped $85 on a fancy wine decanter set I never use

Last spring I saw this infomercial looking thing online and impulse bought a crystal decanter with aerator pourer for $85. Thought it would make me feel fancy on Friday nights with my $12 bottle of red. Turns out the aerator thing leaks and the decanter takes up half my counter. I went back to just pouring wine into a regular glass and it tastes the same honestly. At least it taught me to check if I already had a simpler version sitting in the cupboard. Anyone else buy something that promised to upgrade their routine but it just sits in the box now?
