Vent: My boss thought pottery shards were just broken cups from lunch.
I mean, we had to explain the difference between ancient artifacts and modern trash.

How could your boss mistake pottery shards for broken cups? That's unbelievable since ancient artifacts have such distinct textures and colors. I'm stunned they needed that explained!

Seeing those British Museum shards @richardsullivan mentioned totally changed my mind. I used to think the same as you, but up close they can look like regular broken stuff lmao. Now I get how a boss could mix them up.
