I saw a dig site in Peru go from empty field to mapped ruins in one season

They used drone photos and ground radar to find walls under the dirt, then marked everything with little flags. The team leader said they found a whole plaza layout that wasn't on any old maps. Has anyone else worked on a site that changed that fast?

My buddy worked a summer in Greece where they went from scanning a hillside to having a full theater outline marked out in like, three weeks. It was wild to see his photos change so fast.

Yeah, that speed is crazy to me... like @lily89, it shows how fast they can work now with the right tech and money. It's not just digging with a trowel anymore. Part of me worries they might miss smaller stuff going that fast, you know? But seeing a whole shape come out of the ground that quick... that's gotta be a rush for the team on site.
