Three weeks ago I found a family of five raccoons in my backyard shed when I opened the door to get the lawnmower. They just stared at me like I was the one intruding. Now I have to do a whole inspection routine before I touch ANYTHING in the yard. Bet that squirrel is giving you serious side-eye right now while it pays zero rent.

My buddy had the exact same thing happen with a possum living in his compost bin last spring. It just goes to show you how these animals are getting pushed closer and closer into our spaces without us even realizing it.

Oh man that's rough! I had a possum move into my garage last winter and it took me forever to figure out how to get it out humanely. They're stubborn little things. I finally just left the garage door cracked open a few inches at night with some apple slices near the entrance and he eventually wandered out on his own. Hope your squirrel situation works out without too much drama haha.
