Wasted $150 on a fake compressor for my fridge last spring
I bought a sealed system compressor off a sketchy online parts store because it was half the price of the real deal. Hooked it up and it ran for maybe 4 hours before locking up completely. The store ghosted me and I was out the money plus had to pay for disposal. Has anyone else gotten burned by knockoff refrigeration parts before?

Man you're acting like this is some huge tragedy. It's just a compressor, not a kidney. People buy cheap stuff online all the time and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Thats how the game works. If you wanted a warranty you should've bought from a real supplier instead of some shady site. 150 bucks is basically the cost of a nice dinner out these days, not exactly life changing money.

Honestly kinda feels like youre making it way deeper than it is lol. Dude gambled on a cheap compressor and lost, that's literally just how online shopping works sometimes.
