Stopped at a laundromat in Tulsa on a service call and saw how the whole room was laid out
Was out in Tulsa last Thursday to look at a dryer that wouldn't heat, and while I waited on parts I just stood there and watched the room for a bit. The owner had put every machine on one long wall and left the back half empty, so folks were stacked shoulder to shoulder while half the floor sat unused. I asked him why and he said the plumbing was cheaper that way, and I get it, but the airflow on those rear dryers was terrible and I was back there for a vent clog two months prior. It got me thinking about how many service calls I get that are really layout problems, not part problems. Any of you ever talk a customer into rearranging machines, or is that just asking for trouble?
