Hot take: the Tokyo Ghoul rewatch crowd on my couch ruined the Jason torture episodes for me
We were three episodes into season 1 at my place in Sacramento and my buddy Kyle kept pausing to explain the whole torture scene to his girlfriend right before it happened, spoiling the dread completely. I finally grabbed the remote off the coffee table and said we were going back to episode 8 no pausing no commentary. He got annoyed and left, and honestly the room felt better for it. Does anyone else have a rule about first time watchers and spoilers in a group, or am I being too harsh?
