Dropped $180 on a used Blu-ray box set at a con in Columbus and it saved my rewatch
Back in 2019 I paid about $180 for a used complete box set at a con in Columbus, mostly because the single volumes were getting impossible to find. I figured I was getting burned since the case had a cracked corner, but every disc played clean and it ended up being my whole rewatch for years. Now everything is scattered across five streaming apps with shows getting pulled mid season, and I keep going back to that shelf. Half my collection is unwatchable because the licenses moved, which is a weird thing to explain to someone new to the hobby. What's the one physical set you spent real money on that actually held up?
