Hit 20 properly working film cameras this week from my repair pile
Tbh I started just wanting to fix my granddad's old Minolta but somehow ended up digging through thrift bins and now I've got a whole shelf of working cameras. Has anyone else accidentally turned a small project into a whole collection?

40 cameras though? that's wild. I mean I thought I was bad with 20 but that guy has a whole different level of obsession. My wallet cries just thinking about how much those repair parts must cost at that scale, especially if he's hunting down specific screws or light seals for obscure models.

Heard a podcast where a guy said he started repairing cameras just to save money but ended up with 40 of them. That's basically me now, except I'm at 20 and my wallet is crying. The thrill of finding a busted Konica or Pentax and getting it to fire again is addictive though. Its like each one has its own little story and you're just the person who gets to keep it going.
