Hit 100 cassette decks repaired this month, did not see that coming

I started fixing old cassette players back in March just to have something to do with my hands after work. Last week I hit 100 of them, which honestly surprised me because I never counted or kept a log. What convinced me to keep going was when a guy in Chattanooga sent me a dusty Panasonic from 1984 and wrote a note saying it was his dad's mix tape machine. I got it running and he sent back a voicemail crying, not even joking. That made me realize this was less about the gear and more about the stories people tag along with the plastic. Now I actually track every unit on a whiteboard in my garage, and 100 felt like a real milestone. Has anyone else hit a random repair count that made them see the hobby differently?
