Unpopular opinion: Hitting 100 rolls of film this year isn't a flex, it's a problem
I see people bragging about burning through 100+ rolls in a year like it's some kind of milestone. But I hit 87 rolls last month and realized I was just wasting money on mediocre shots. Most of those frames were blurry or badly exposed because I was rushing to shoot more instead of slowing down. I'd rather have 10 great negatives than 100 that I'm embarrassed to show anyone. Anyone else feel like the quantity over quality mindset kills the whole point of film?

Wait wait, hold up. You hit 87 rolls in just one month? Dude that's like two and a half rolls a day. How do you even develop that without your bathroom turning into a lab?

Wait @keith116, do you really think I shot 87 rolls in one month? The post said I hit that number over the course of the whole year. Sorry if that was confusing. I can see how it reads like it was a month, but it was actually from January to December. Even so, that's still a lot of film and way more than I needed to shoot. Most of those frames were just me clicking without thinking, chasing numbers instead of good shots. I ended up with tons of negatives I'll never print because they're not worth the paper.
