Shoutout to the lab that FINALLY told me why my negs looked like garbage

I've been scanning my own rolls for 4 months now and kept getting these weird cloudy patches on EVERY frame, thought it was my camera. Turns out my developer was exhausted because I was reusing it WAY past capacity, like 15 rolls when the bottle says 8. The tech at Rocket Photo in Portland counted my empty packs and showed me the math on their chart, I felt SO dumb. Anyone else ever go way over the chemical limits and blame the gear instead?

Nah, that chart's just a guideline, 15 rolls is rookie numbers.
