Warning: My kid rewrote the ending of Charlotte's Web and honestly it's better than the real one
So my 9 year old daughter asked me to read her Charlotte's Web last month at bedtime, and when we got to the end she got mad and said Charlotte shouldn't have to die just because she's a spider. So she wrote her own version where Charlotte moves into the barn rafters for the winter and the whole county fair comes back the next year. I think it's a better ending than E.B. White's and I'll fight anyone who says different. Anyone else have a kid who fixed a book ending better than the author did?
