One bad ending made me flip my whole opinion on remakes

I used to hate when they changed book endings for movies, always sided with the page. Then I watched the new adaptation of a thriller I loved, and the original ending felt flat after seeing theirs. Anybody else got swayed the opposite way by a specific change?
