Heads up, the way 'Coco' wraps up ignores a huge family risk.
Honestly, if the music had won over memory, the whole clan would've faded.

But like, isn't that the whole point of the movie's rules? The risk was there, but Miguel literally went to the Land of the Dead to fix it. They showed the great grandma Coco starting to forget her dad, which proves they were fading. The story is about him stopping that from happening just in time.

I mean, let's be real here, they really dragged out that almost forgetting thing for maximum drama. Like, we all knew Miguel was gonna fix it, but they had Coco fading so slow it was like watching paint dry. Maybe it's just me, but the rules felt kinda made up just to make us nervous for no reason. Whole time I was sitting there like, okay we get it, hurry up and play the song already.

Yeah, that slow fade anderson.cora mentioned really had me on edge too. Even when you know how it ends, that kind of drawn-out worry just gets to me every time.
