Left a torque wrench on the intake of a King Air and found it 3 flights later, still sitting there like it owned the place
Did a 100 hour inspection on a King Air 200 at our hangar in Wichita last Tuesday, got distracted by a phone call about a parts order, and somehow left my 3/8 torque wrench sitting right on top of the engine cowling, which a pilot then flew 3 legs with before I found it wedged next to the intake, and I still can't decide if I'm more embarrassed that I did it or relieved that it didn't get sucked in, so has anyone else ever left a tool somewhere insane and gotten away with it?
