I finally figured out why my air fryer chicken kept sticking

I was making some simple chicken thighs, and every single time they'd weld themselves to the basket. I spent 45 minutes scrubbing the basket after each cook! Turns out, I wasn't patting the chicken dry enough before adding a tiny bit of oil. My friend Sarah literally had to come over and show me. Has anyone else had a food stick this badly, and what's your trick to stop it?

What else sticks like that? I always thought air fryers were just sticky by design, but a little cornstarch with the oil changed the game for me. It's a totally different machine now.
