Frozen fries changed after 20 years, who knew

Was prepping dinner last Tuesday and read the bag of crinkle cuts, says air fry at 400 for 12 minutes. Back in 2004 I used to deep fry those same ones for 6 minutes in a pot of oil. How come nobody told me the cooking tech moved this much, you guys seeing the same thing?
