Remember switching to a new framework last year that halved our build times. The speed gains felt unreal at first, but you get used to the new normal fast. It's like the tech just won't stop running.

Saw a blog post about how our brains adjust to faster tech and then just expect it. The writer called it "productivity creep" where each speed boost just resets the baseline.
