I had to pick between two AI tools for my data project

I was working on a project for my class and needed to sort through a lot of customer feedback. My options were a basic text analyzer or a newer AI that could spot feelings in the text. I went with the feeling one, even though it cost a bit more. It took about a week to set up, but it found patterns I would have missed, like people being frustrated with the checkout page. Has anyone else used a tool like this for understanding customer comments?

I mean, the feeling-spotting tools are usually called sentiment analysis, right? Idk, maybe it's just me but calling it "spotting feelings" makes it sound less technical than it is. It's basically just teaching the AI to recognize positive and negative words in context, which is why it catches stuff like hidden frustration.

I did something similar for a work thing last month. The basic keyword counter just wasn't cutting it. Spotting the actual frustration was a game changer.
