Wasted $40 on a 'guaranteed' ghost hunting app before my trip to the old Valley View Galleria

Ugh, did it just show you random dots and call them ghosts? I bought one of those apps for a trip to a supposedly haunted hotel last year. It was just a random number generator making spooky noises. My phone even died faster from it running in the background. Total scam for sure.

What hotel was it? I always wonder if those places actually try to set up something real, like weird wiring that messes with electronics, or if they just rely on apps and stories. Did anything else happen there that felt off, or was it all just the app being junk?

Yeah, "weird wiring that messes with electronics" is actually a thing at some of those old hotels. @beth_patel4 I stayed at a place near Gettysburg last year. The whole room had this hum. Lights flickered for no reason. My phone kept glitching and losing charge. But the app? Pure garbage. Just threw up random coordinates. Felt staged. The real creepy stuff was the physical space itself. Dont waste money on the apps. Look for cold spots and stuff moving on its own instead.
