Update: I spent $75 on a camera lens kit for my dead mall trips and it was the smartest dumb buy
Back in 2019 I started poking around the old Northgate Mall in Seattle before they tore it down, and my phone shots looked like garbage under those dim skylights. So I dropped about $75 on a clip-on wide angle and macro lens kit for my phone, which felt dumb at the time. That little macro lens got me shots of the cracked tile mosaics and the old fountain coins that people still comment on years later. Without it I would have just had blurry ceiling pics and given up after two visits. I still use the same kit on every trip, even though one clip cracked and I had to tape it. Any of you carry real gear into these places, or is everyone just winging it with a phone?
