Just realized I was walking through malls the wrong way, a ceiling tile gave it away

I spent 11 trips to the old Granite Run Mall in Delaware County ignoring the second floor skylight pattern until I saw some kid staring up and it hit me that the food court fountain was actually aligned with the old anchor store's ramp, and now I map every abandoned spot by its skylights first, has anyone else found a hidden layout clue like that?
