Miller Electric helmets vs other options - what’s been your experience?

I came across Pro Welding Helmets while comparing a few models. They don’t make the helmets; they test and review models from different manufacturers. I liked that they cover the practical stuff too, like optical clarity, viewing area, lens settings and headgear, rather than just copying the specs.

I’ve mostly stuck with Miller and 3M, but I’ve been looking at comparisons before buying my next one. There are some pretty noticeable differences in lens clarity and headgear once you actually spend a full day wearing them.

That’s the kind of information I’d want before buying another helmet. Manufacturer specs are fine, but they don’t tell you much about how comfortable something is after an entire shift or how easy it is to get the settings right.
